I know, I know…I skipped over February. I do have a valid excuse though! New job, new schedule, trying to get adjusted all turned my brain into complete mush.
We are starting strong with March, though! Allow me to introduce you to Hailey Bouche. She blogs over at Hailey Bouche (easy to remember!) and write a lot about wellness, style, and life in the city.

How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging on and off since 2014, but it wasn’t until July of 2017 that I decided to invest the majority of my time into it and tell people about it.
What made you want to start blogging?
I love to write, and I knew having a blog would allow me to do that. It also had a lot to do with stepping out of my comfort zone. It came down to knowing I had things to say and a story to tell, being afraid of people seeing it, but still hoping someone would benefit from it anyways.
What’s your favorite thing about being a blogger?
The best thing about being a blogger is meeting other bloggers and creatives. I am surrounded by so many incredible, passionate, and supportive people. I have met some of my best friends because of the blogging world.
How did you decide on your blog name?
To be honest, I was afraid of picking a name I’d get sick of, so I kept it simple with my first and last name.
What do you love most about living in Buffalo?
Oh my, I love so many things about this place. It all comes down to the people though.
What’s your favorite local restaurant?
I am always at New York Beer Project. There are definitely cooler, more impressive places I have been in Buffalo, but NYBP has a comfortable and cool vibe. The food will not disappoint you either!
What are your favorite seasonal activities?
Anything and everything that is happening downtown during the summer. I love the Allentown Art Festival and going to concerts at Canalside.
What is your favorite neighborhood in the city?
You can always find me in the Village of Williamsville. It’s right around the corner from my house, so I’m always there grabbing a smoothie, coffee, or a drink with friends. The shopping is great too. They really have everything. It’s underrated!
What are a few of your favorite Instagram accounts that you follow?
@local_milk – Not only is Beth’s feed beautiful, but she has an incredible story.
@laurenkaysims – for all of my ootd inspo needs
@courtney_shields – she has the cutest little family and some of the best beauty tips
What advice would you give to people who would like to start a blog?
Be authentic. Pushing content out in the world is one of the most vulnerable things you can do, but if you stay true to who you are and what you love, it will show. There are a lot of people in the blogging world that do similar things (ex. fashion, food, travel, beauty, lifestyle), but it’s your personality that will set you apart.
